Residing in Moscow, Victor Boyko is an internationally sought-after fashion, key events, and celebrity portrait photographer primarily working throughout Europe and Asia with regular contributions to publications such as Vogue, GQ, The Guardian, and The New York Times. However, there is another side to Victor that often takes him deep into isolated landscapes. His 2015 collection, “Soviet Presence”, exhibited in London’s Eastern Seasons Gallery, found him on far-out dirt roads photographing the remnants of once mighty Soviet military bases. For this 2017 “Twin Peaks” collection, Victor settled into the moody and mysterious backdrop of winter in the Washington state area to capture images inspired by David Lynch. Victor first met Lynch in Moscow in 2009 while shooting a portrait of Lynch subsequently published in Vogue magazine.
